A little bit of home

I got some advice from my fellow roamer, Christine Hynson, to take something on the road that will make me feel a little closer to home. I followed that advice and brought along a picture that reminds me of one of my dogs who is now passed away. I also brought a few of the little white squirrels from my collection. Finally, I brought along the chimes that have hung in every house I’ve owned since I was 26. I thought my history of weekly travel as a consultant would make me immune to these little reminders, but I do feel better having them with me. Notice that they are all very small, but they are powerful reminders of what really to me. If you are thinking of roaming, I highly suggest that you take a few reminders with you.
